Hi. I have been pastor of Cornerstone since 2015 and absolutely love it here. What’s not to love? My roots are in Edmonton. It’s where I grew up (in a large family) and received Christ as my Saviour and Lord. My post-secondary studies were down in the States, where I spent 4 years at Dordt University in Iowa, and went to seminary in Jackson, Mississippi and Grand Rapids, Michigan. My first ministry experience was a blast, sharing Christ with people from around the world as a Harbour Chaplain for 2 years in Montreal. After that I served a church in Nova Scotia and one near Ottawa. My wife, Theresa, is from Victoria and we have 2 children, Bonnie, who teaches at Kings Christian School in town, and Colson, who is studying law at UBC. For fun (and to try and keep sane) I walk and bike with my wife, swim, kayak, and play hockey. My ultimate passion is Jesus and doing my best to help others know his love and be transformed by his power.
